Baseball cards becoming more and more popular. Cards will only continue to get hotter and hotter as the 2021 baseball season rolls along!
So, let’s take a look at the 5 best rookie cards all MLB fans need to get their hands on!
1. Fernando Tatis Jr.
Fernando Tatis Jr. proved his rookie year was no fluke, as he has been one of the best player in the game over the last few seasons. I personally recommend investing in his 2016 Bowman Chrome rookie card or the 2016 Bowman Chrome Refractor rookie card, both are two great options for long-term investments. The sky is the limit for Tatis Jr. and his cards shouldn’t be much different.
2. Ronald Acuña Jr.
I see immense potential in Ronald Acuña Jr. Currently, Acuña’s Bowman Chrome 2017 prospect graded card is going for around $300, for a PSA 10. Although, that may seem a bit high compared to some of the other cards on this list, it is about as low as you will see it from now on. I see Acuña as a major breakout star in this league, and potentially leading the Braves for the next decade. Get in now on the Acuña 2017 Bowman Chrome cards before it is too late.
3. Juan Soto
We can expect big things from Juan Soto for the rest of 2021, and therefore we can expect a great increase in his baseball card prices. His prices currently hover around $200 for his graded rookie cards, and I would almost bet the house that it will increase as the hype of the upcoming season continues to manifest. A little bit higher buy here, but all-in-all, a very safe investment.
4. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
Vlad Guerrero Jr. is becoming a household name at a rapid pace. There is so much raw hitting talent in this kid, and he has the superstar potential that card investors are looking for. Guerrero rookie cards are a low-risk, medium-reward investment looking towards the future, but definitely have the ability to move up drastically in the short term as well. I recommend investing in his rookie cards. I see a steady incline in his card prices for years to come with this all-star-like talent.
5. Bo Bichette
The Toronto Blue Jays have a loaded group of young players of their own, with Bo Bichette, Cavan Biggio and Vladimir Guerrero, Jr. This season, Bichette has a batting average of .296 with 18 home runs and 67 RBIs, a long with leading the league in runs scored. There is no question that Bo Bichette has all the talent in the world. I recommend investing in Bo Bichette rookie card for sure.
