If you do not know who this is in the picture above, I don’t blame you… If you have never played Telltale’s Walking Dead game, you will not know who this is. Telltale first released their Walking Dead game in 2012, with season 1 centered around Lee and Clementine. The games have evolved from that and their final season (season 4) game was released in 2018, centered around Clementine and AJ. The game is all about decisions. Throughout all four seasons you are often faced with difficult decisions. As a result, there are a lot of endings that are not the same. You and your friend could have completely different playthroughs. The character above was from the season 3 Telltale game, Ava. Ava was apart a group called The New Frontier. The character on the left was from the new season 11B trailer that dropped a few weeks ago. They look carbon copies of each other. It might be a coincidence but if she is really Ava from The Walking Dead video games, this can open up the door for many interesting storylines down the road.
Telltale’s game has highlighted some of your favorite Walking Dead characters in the past. They have included Glenn in season 1 of their game. They also have Paul “Jesus” Rovia in season 3. You can even play as Michonne in her stand alone Walking Dead Telltale game. Hershel, Shawn, Pete, and Siddiq are also shown in the videogames. It is known that Robert Kirkman has a hand in these videogames but have said numerous times that these are two different universes. Obviously he is the showrunner for the show on AMC and the main person for the comic book. In the last book, the last sentence was “P.S Clementine lives”. Never say never but if this is Ava from The New Frontier, this can have major implications for the future of The Walking Dead on AMC. This can connect to a storyline with Clementine or AJ. Clementine is one of the fan favorites and this could bring more popularity to the show. Who wouldn’t love a Clementine and a Judith scene down the road for the future of The Walking Dead. Or to get ahead of ourselves, even a standalone Clementine spinoff series…
