With the contracts to the actors behind the Netflix-Marvel characters ending, the film rights have reverted back to Marvel Studios which means that Disney can now use those characters however they please. Daredevil is a great character, and the Netflix show Daredevil showed people just that and then some.

Anthony Mackie has officially signed a deal to return as Sam Wilson/Captain America in Captain America 4. Anticipation is running rampant as production is scheduled to get underway sometime in 2022, and speculation has began to soar as to who the villain(s) could be, and what the story could entail.

To me it was obvious that Disney+ and Marvel Studios’ latest show What If…? would be MCU canon. But the series’ head writer A.C. Bradley made it official that, despite its animated style and anthology premise, everything in the show is canon when she said, “the events of What If...? are canon. It's part of the MCU multiverse. The multiverse is here. It is real, and it is absolutely fantastic, people."

When it was announced a few years ago that Marvel Studios would be doing a movie based on the Eternals, I was extremely excited to see these amazing characters FINALLY brought to life. But when they announced that Kit Harington would be playing Dane Whitman aka Black Knight in the film, that’s what really got me hyped up.

Episode 5 of Loki was outstanding. Might even be my favorite episode thus far. The series keeps getting better and better, and while a majority of the miniseries has been about strong dialogue and not a whole lot of action, episode 5 changed the narrative. I’ve been saying since the pilot episode that what Marvel has done with these Disney+ MCU shows has been really interesting.

This was the first time that I had been inside a movie theater since February 2020! Of course it had to be an MCU movie, and it was a great experience, but what was even more great was being able to see a Marvel movie again as the last one came out over 2-years ago in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Episode two of Loki has come and gone, but will never be forgotten. Since Avengers: Endgame came out way back in 2019, fans of the MCU have been waiting for the next great thing. Spider-Man: Far From Home, WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier were all great, but none of them were nearly as great as episode two titled, “The Variant”.

When Eternals was announced back in April of 2018, myself and other die-hard Marvel Comics fans foamed at the mouth. Chloe Zhao was quickly announced as the director, with Nate Moore executive producing and helping to write the script. Moore is no stranger to the MCU as he has his fingerprints on: Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Zhao is new to the MCU, but she is fresh off of winning two Oscars as she received the nod for Best Director and Best Picture for Nomadland. Zhao is a rising name within Hollywood, and her getting to play in the Marvel sandbox should have every fan of the MCU extremely excited.

When it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans all over the world “marvel” over it’s greatness. Ever since 2008 with Iron Man, fans have been hooked on what’s come to be known as, the MCU. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has done an amazing job at creating phenomenal movies, and more lately, TV shows on Disney+. Besides grossly lacking representation in many areas that need to be addressed sooner rather than later, there hasn’t been much darkness. Or as I like to call it, brutal violence that dons an R-Rating.
